Bad Management and Bad Buildings

We live in this establishment and from the start the management has refused to fix front door, replace dirty and bleach spotted carpet, and explained to us the reason that we can't have a microwave is that the building was not wired properly 7 years ago when the property was built. They are very rude and will not call you back to explain why they can't fix your easy problem. The maintenance man was very rude to my face a few times. I would recommend the very nice looking adobe look of the buildings but not the management or building problems.

Rockwood Capital purchased Montevista on August 31, 2007. It is true that this particular unit was not wired to hold an over the stove microwave. Unfortunately we were not able to provide this resident with that amenity, but again we just purchased the property, we did not build it or we could have corrected that problem seven years ago. We do not provide every unit with a microwave, only select apartments have this feature. As a management company we did provide this resident with a brand new counter top microwave In regards to the dirty bleach spotted carpet, I personally inspected the carpet and it was clean with a few minor pebble size bleach spots. I had our carpet company come back out and correct this issue. I have also apologized to this resident about any employee related issues such as maintenance being rude, or phone calls not being returned. I would like to take this time to again extend my sincerest apology. It is in our best business practices to ensure that all of our residents are happy not only with their home, but also the staff and the community as a whole.
