Living in these apartments was NOT pleasant! My first clue should have been when it took 2 weeks for them to check out my application.
They did a quickie job painting the apartment, so there was dried paint on the floors throughout the apartment.
I was unable to use the kitchen sink the first 2 1/2 months I lived there, because they would NOT come out to fix it despite several assurances by office staff. The cabinet beneath the sink was a nasty, rotten, moldy mess, and it was never replaced the entire time I lived there.
The a/c barely got cool even when set to 70 degrees. The heat would only work if I switched it to ON, if I put it on AUTO, I would fall asleep warm then wake up to a freezing cold apartment. This made my electricity bills sky high.
I only had hot water about half the time I lived there. There was never a time that I went an entire week with hot water. In July of 2006, I actually went 21 days straight without hot water.
The office staff worked there because most got a free apartment out of the deal. The maintainance staff was nonexistant despite the fact that they lived on the property as well. The only time they were seen was when they were keeping the office area and the front of the complex neat and clean in order to keep up the facade that the apartments were actually a nice place to live.
I wanted to leave so bad I moved out a month early even though I had already paid my last months rent. If you see these apartments, take my advice, JUST DRIVE ON BY!
