I was sold on this apartment complex which was tagged as an "A luxury complex," and it is an A complex aesthetically, but I would give the management a D . I'm not an embittered rentee, but the price exceeds what is delivered for that price. Here's a few of my grievances:
-I have had numerous items stolen off of my second floor balcony (to which the management replied, "We can't prevent ALL crime,"... a situation that may have been avoided had the back gate been operational and keeping people out, or had extra security measures lasted more than one month).
-I had a vehicle towed by the towing company Alta Ridglea allows to patrol the parking lot to ensure every resident has a spot. The information about a parking sticker must have "blown off my door" so I was towed even though I'm a resident. The price tag: $250.
-An eighth grade writing class is recommended for those who write the correspondence with residents. The poor grammar and terrible communication = ambiguity blamed on the resident.
-Not a lick of information was given to me when I moved in. I was given a key and had to return to the office several times over the next few days to ask for items like: the key code to the trash compactor, the code to the pool, my CONTRACT.

I hope this is helpful. If you like wasting your money, losing your stuff, and being annoyed with people who don't care to attend to your needs, by all means move into this apartment.

um..the code to the trash compactor is on a sign next to it. I love living here and I think you are blowing little things way out of proportion.

I've lived here pretty much since the complex opened, and the sign with the trash compactor code has been there from day one. Crime has gotten worse. Recently someone was held up at gunpoint on the premises. We used to have a security officer at night, when ownership change, they cut back on stuff like that. The economics of running an apartment complex do not favor the current tenants. That's just a fact of life.
