I moved in here in March 2005 and renewed my lease this spring. I used the Apartment Rating web site to find places where I wanted to look. I only looked at apartment complexes where the ratings where a 3 or higher. When I saw how nice these apartments where maintained, I knew I had found the right place. I waited until I lived here a year before adding my comments. The maintenance staff tries hard and a little understanding goes a long way. This is the South and they may not be fast, but they do get the job done. I love the sound of the train whistles in the distance at night and sleep with my windows open except in the cold months. I only used my AC four times last year when temps exceeded 100 degrees. Otherwise the ceiling fan is sufficient and my typical electric bill is less than $50 in the summer. My highest electric bill was in the heating season ($75 in March 2006). I love the pool area and cooking in the conveniently placed community charcoal grills. The Trinity River has a paved and gravel trail within a block of the apartment. I run over 6 miles a day and truly enjoy this friendly neighborhood. I live alone and only heat to 65 degrees in the winter and your electric bills will be higher if you like it hotter in the winter and cooler in the summer.
