I moved to River Park from my home in Michigan for work and I've been very happy with my choice. Definitely not the best rent price to square footage ratio but there's a lot more to an apartment than that, which is where River Park excells. I really feel at home here!
Things I really like: -Quiet part of Fort Worth - the whole River Park Drive area is great. Slightly secluded but very near Southwest Blvd, Bryant Irvin, Camp Bowie. -Quiet, well-kept complex - after visiting coworkers' apartments, I realized how nice my complex is. Definitely not loud and raucous like Remington Hill. -Nice office staff - though they change frequently and I really only see them when I pay my rent, they're never a chore to deal with and Sherry is a great manager.
The only thing I don't like is the poor insulation - this place wouldn't cut it back home in MI! It's about 20 years old so single pane windows and poor weatherstripping coupled with electric heat mean higher energy costs. The good news is that you're in Texas, so it's not really that big of an issue in the winter.
If I didn't have to relocate again for work, I'd be quick to re-up my lease.
