We have lived here for about a year, and things are ok. The so called "stain-resistant" carpet, really isn't, its the same cheap carpet you see in every other apt. The molding is pretty until it gets wet, then it swells up like a balloon and all the paint flakes off (look in the bathrooms). During a recent heavy rain, water seeped through the roof and stained our ceiling, which now has a stripe running across it. Parking is ok right now because there are 2 vacant apartments across from us, but when its full it can be tough unless you pay the extra $100-$150 for a single garage or covered parking. I have never had a problem with the train, if you think you will stay toward the front of the complex. The fitness center is nice. Don't try to get on the "business center" computers, they are on lockdown more than they are available because of recent breakins. We too came home from a trip only to find our locks had been changed because of the breakins- no one ever called us and my mother couldn't get in to feed my pets. Luckily, she tried the locks while the staff was still in the office, and we could tell them to give her the new key. After hours who knows'' I would definitely weigh all your options carefully before committing here.
