Expensive AC bills - $250 in summer

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
I moved here on short notice as I was relocating from San Antonio. I chose them because they were accessible via Rufe Snow and the grounds were decently kept. Well - not a good decision.
There are a large number of teens at this location and as such they are always out and about on the grounds. Not a problem except that they are usually causing general mayhem to the residents. In the two years I was there the pool was accessible maybe three months and when it was accessible the kids would be in after hours.
I also had three different neighbors to one side of me, all of the variety that liked to scream and yell at night. This was definitely been a bad experience.
The negative side is that management would not respond to calls, the courtesy officer would not respond to calls, there was no enforcement of parking, the AC units are old and thus run ALL day to keep the apartment in the 80's and a lot of individuals hang out in the parking lot.
Add to that the headache of the contruction on Rufe Snow and I would definitely suggest somewhere else.
One plus side - it was very cheap for the area. I've since moved out to an apartment that looks nicer, I'm paying $130 more a month but saving that difference via my AC bills - which now average $70 a month, compared to $200 at this place.
