I have applied here but not sure if I'm going to sign a lease. The office staff told me I could have the apartment I wanted for 699 then when I came in person they denied having a unit for that price and told me the rent was going to be 735. They also didn't tell me about the app fee. Over the phone they were saying they would email the application and I could just fax it in, yet when I came in person they wanted 40 bucks per person. Their app fee is high and they charge a $50 admin fee on top of that. I guess you have to pay out the ass to live in a white community. No one is living in the unit I want yet they want money to let me start moving in a day early. (no place to put my stuff for a night) Every other place I went to said they would help me out, since no one is in the unit anyways. Didn't act like they appreciated my prospective renting with them. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I experienced some of the same things. I ended up moving out prior to my lease being up when I realized how much I was paying to live there when there are other MUCH LARGER apts for less elsewhere. Plus the electric bills were running to high(poor insulation). I would say run, run, run. There are other white communities that you don't have to pay out the azz to live in.
