They are very dishonest, they never sent my deposit back to me, and turned me into a collection agency, saying I owed them money for standard cleaning fees. When I asked them to take the fee out of my deposit and send me the remaining amount, they said my signed lease agreement wasn't enough proof that I had paid a deposit at all. I had to send a copy of my receipt to the collection agency. I am now working with an attorney. These people are crooks and apparently their corporate office is as well!

I lived at SummerBrook a few years back. My deposit also was never sent to me after I moved even though I was told everything was left in great condition. After weeks of arguing I was told they would send my deposit. Go figure, it never got sent. Every time I called asking where the check was they would make up a new excuse as to why I shouldn't get the deposit back. The staff gets a cut of any "extras" which would explain why so many people don't see their deposit ever again.
