I moved into the place on Aug 19th....moved out on Sept 7th.

That in itself should tell you how bad that place is. They sell you on how luxurious the place is. All the renovations they have done to the apartments. The staff practically wines and dines you and as soon as you sign your name on the dotted line its like they forget all the things they tell you.

I rented over the internet soooo what an ass I was. Let me tell you what we experienced in the short time we were there.

1. The kitchen is disgusting, they say ceramic tile in wet areas...its freaking sticky tile that we found pulling up. Cabinets look like they are from the year of the flood, and the renovation was they painted them a disgusting flat brown color.

2. Bathrooms were dirty and gross, it took my wife 4 hours to get the mildew and dirt off the walls and tubs. And try to get them to fix it...YEAH right we had a toilet stuffed up I went to the office to see if I could get someone to go there with a plunger BJ told me not until I filled out the punch list sheet. I looked at her and laughed drove to Home Depot and bought a plunger...right there I should have known I was in trouble.

3. Windows do not open, that is a fire hazard. The fantastic porch area is gross the smell of dog crap is all over the place.

4. Get ready to live with the ants, woke up one morning to a line of ants from a small hole in the corner of the wall to my garbage pail. I was completely grossed out. Oh and the pools...HA if you have teenage daughters dont let them go there....the maintenance morons will sit there an gawk at them and make comments in Spanish. Little do they know I am very fluent in Spanish and knew exactly what they were saying. I even went to one and spoke to him telling him if he did not shut up I would personally push his teeth down his throat. He left

5. This was the final straw for me, leaving for work on a Friday morning. Two cop cars marking down each license plate as it leaves the complex. I am trying to figure out what the hell is going on. I did not notice the glass on the ground right next to my car.

Saturday we are going to breakfast 6 cop cars are pulling into the complex. I stop one to find out what is going on and asked him about the what was going on with all the cops the past two days. He explains that there were 4 car break ins and they just had received a Domestic violence call with a hangup so they were investigating. I looked at my wife and my kids and said this is it we are out of here. I went into the office later on that day and Ashley was like she knew nothing about what was going on. What there were break ins'' There were cops here this morning....I was flabbergasted.

We found a house to rent and went to speak to the Manager of the site. I told her what we were promised and told about the place and her answer to me was....Well you are moving into an apartment what did you expect the Plaza. I looked at her and said Lady I have stayed in pay by the hour motels that were cleaner and nicer then this place. Well they would not work with me and now are charging me to get out of the lease but I will say this its worth paying because the place is just too disgusting to live in.

My suggestion to anyone thinking about renting there....DONT DO IT!!! you will regret it.
