I have lived at Amli on the Green approximately 2years now.
The apartment caught my eyes off of the freeway as I was driving by. It seemed quiet and serene with the creek view.
When I first went to the leasing office for leasing information, the staff was wonderful. They were more than helpful and willing to meet my every need (apparently to get me in).
The apartments were perfect! They had crown molding, vaulted ceilings, garden tubs, fireplaces, etc. What more could you ask for'
I was told that they run rent history, a credit check and criminal check on everyone applying.
This made me feel safe and secure on choosing them.
Well, looks are very deceiving!!
Within the first year I noticed my apartment shifting, doors sticking, ceilings cracking and leaking.
There are HUGE water bugs and spiders everywhere on the property!!
There are tons of beetles and silver fish in my apartment.
Maintenance is slow to respond and does a 1/2 a** job on any request!
I loved the fact that I was told everyone gets a credit and criminal check.
They obviously loosened up on the credit and criminal checks!
Within this year I've received approximately 4 apartment notices about car and apartment thefts.
In between this time, my car was broken into. I was basically told by the leasing office that there was nothing that they could do but I could file a police report and give the complex a copy.
This is why I won't be renewing my lease again!!
And I have a feeling that I'm not alone. There are more and more people moving out weekly than there are moving in!
