We had a horrible experience moving into AMLI. Our apartment wasn't complete on the day they gave us our keys - it was dirty and had some damage that wasn't corrected. The maintenance crew had REALLY screwed up. After going back and forth, an AMLI rep. helped us and corrected the problem by moving us into a much better apartment - AND ACTUALLY HELPED US MOVE IN, IN HIS SUIT AND ALL!
Since then, we haven't had any big problems. The water is dispersed throughout the entire property and there have been times that the sprinklers go all night - sometimes hosing the entire parking lot down - and our water bills are sky high.
The apartment is RIGHT ON 35-W and traffic is a NIGHTMARE. If you are working in downtown FW, it will take you at least 30 - 45 minutes to get there.
On the upside, AMLI is located right near Fossil Creek Golf Course and some really nice neighborhoods. There are A LOT of places really close by the apartments - Walmart, Albertson's, 2 Starbucks (within a mile of each other), etc. I think it's a great place to start out.
The staff has gotten a lot better since we moved it. It doesn't take a long time to get a work order from the maintenance crew complete.
If you are interested in AMLI, Jon is awesome. If you want anything done, go talk to him. He's great.
Good luck apartment hunting.
