I have been a resident of The Club at Fossil Creek for one year. Yes, there are problems associated with apartment living and the club does have that, residents that are louder than you, don't pick up their trash, and so on. But a few of the issues that I have had that do take note. First, cockroaches, we did not have any problems with them when we first moved in but a few months later they started appearing, we fought to keep all the counters clean and sinks dry but we have still had them, the apartment complex has sprayed three times and it has not seemed to make a difference. Second, the appliances, they are old and outdated, my microwave growled at me every time that I used it until I replaced it, my refrigerator has had a constant leak, I have to use a mug to catch the water everyday and the dishwasher just plain sucks. But last is the water bill, which should concern future residents, during the summer the water price jumped up to over $80! When concerns were brought up to the apartment they referred us to the water company and the water company insisted that it is the apartment complex that is responsible. Gas is not included in water. I can look over alot of this stuff because I love the layout, the location and the cost. I have always felt safe here, we've never seen a busted out windows or sketchy looking people. I would recommend the club at fossil creek, if they don't mind the roaches.
