Inept management and "poor" record keeping could cost you.

I moved in in 2004. 2 months after I renewed my lease in 2005, I got a letter saying that they didn't have a record of payment for my entire deposit. I paid everything within the first 3 months of living there, electing to pay the 1/3 of the deposit at signing and the other 2/3 with the next two months rent. Don't do it. Just pay it all at once and keep all records. I have a credit score in the 800's and it didn't get that way from not paying what I owe. They will "misplace" your paperwork and then tell you to pay more or be evicted. I am moving out at the end of my lease, this place has great rates, but that's because they charge you double the deposits. Mgmt will also not speak directly to you on issues. They will tell you they will look into it and then put a letter on your door using threatening tactics to get you to give in. Do yourself a favor and don't get stuck here.
