Vanderbilt Apartments

NOT a good place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/13/2005 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005 1 response   I have lived at the Vanderbilt for two and a half years and can't wait for my lease to be over. It wasn't too bad when we first moved in, but has steadily declined since. The crime rate is ridiculous; my apartment was broken into and my purse was stolen and the management didn't even put out a notice alerting other residents of the crime even though I asked them to twice. After reading the other reviews on this site, I have learned that there was a rape on the property last year. I'm really glad they let us know about that one. This place is completely ghetto, and there are always suspicious-looking people wandering the complex at all hours of the night. There is always trash and beer bottles littering the parking lot. Some disgusting person even left a pile of chicken bones on my front porch. SICK! This is NOT a nice place to live. BEWARE!
