I moved in summer of 2003. Shortly after I moved in there was a rash of breakins, our mail boxes were broken into, and there was a flood in my first floor aparmtent. The mail boxes were reported to the management and between the management and the USPS, they coundln't figure out who was suppose to replace the mail boxes, (Management is responsilbe) That took over a month to fix. My apartment was flooded, on a Saturday and maintenance responded, but two hours later, by the time someone came out to asses the damange there was probably two inches of water accumilated throughout my apartment. I decided to purchase a home in 2004. I originally spoke with a leasing agent and she gave me the numbers I needed to move out, I go back in and she no longer works there and the other leasing agent gives me a higher figure than the first. This management team came close to ruining my chance of purchasing a home by stating that I owed three months rent and all the fees. I didn't owe three months rent unless they could not find an occupant for those three months. I found that there are rights for tenants and there are numerouse websites to help. I really did not appreciate this situation almost ruining my chances for a dream home. Don 't let your dreams be ruined.

A similar incident happened to me when trying to lease and the management was horrible about it.
