What a joke. We decided to leave at the end of our lease with a few days of moving in. Garbage disposal rattled everything in the kitchen. NO WATER PRESSURE. it took forever to fill the washing machine and showers took twice as long too. Their choice of TVMax as a cable service was a joke; we had outages and bad reception constantly. We were calling TVMax nearly every day. Light (heat & cold too) poured though the front door when it was closed; but maintenance said there was nothing they could do about it. Toilets: have a plunger handy, we had to plunge clogs almost daily; they would come and snake out the lines, but that did nothing. Sidewalks meant for walking were impassable for the standing water and slime. Management would not allow Southwestern Bell to service the lines. We had a phone problem; could not make outgoing calls and management would not allow the proper technicians to diagnose and fix the problem. Security gates were always broken. Lawns were nothing more than weeds and flowerbeds were barren and poorly maintained. The resident tended to the few nice ones. One neighbor installed a satellite dish in a bucket ? filled with cement. The rain filled the remainder causing a mosquito nest and the resident used it as an ask tray. Management refused to do anything about the health hazard. They also refused to enforce the city regulation and lease regulation of no BBQing on the patio/balcony. After moving out, they are charging us for painting and carpet cleaning: something they are required by law to do even if we left it pristine.
