I work in customer service and I enjoy providing good service. I do notice when good service is and is not provided, and I can certainly say that in my five years of living in apartments, this place is ranked at the bottom of the deck. The staff's sheer level of rudeness and phoniness is something that I have yet to encounter anywhere else, be it at a restaurant, retailer, service provider, or another apartment complex.
I'm sure that you have already read about the scarce parking, mediocre construction, and multiple emails needed in order to have something fixed. What I would like to bring your attention to is the addendum that they make you sign in addition to the lease, which is their way of attempting to circumvent the section in the Texas Property Code that prohibits charging for normal wear and tear, e.g. wear patterns in the carpet or small holes in the wall resulting from the hanging of pictures. I was socked with a $200 bill (which compared to other former residents is not bad, but is $200 nonetheless) for such charges. I didn't get attorneys involved because I did not feel it to be worth the hassle, but I would like to save you the experience in duplicity that I went through.
If you still choose to live here (and it is a fine location, no doubt) please do the following:
A. Take pictures of EVERYTHING when you move in.
B. Send all maintenance requests via email and print out and file copies of said requests.
C. Document all conversations with the staff and keep them on file as well (this is also a good practice when contacting a service provider about an issue).
D. If you are told something that you aren't sure will be honored, ask that it be put in writing.
E. Take pictures of EVERYTHING when you move out.
F. Make certain that you obtain a copy of the lease addendum. I was not provided one at the time of my lease signing (I fell for the "Oh, we'll get you a copy" and I then forgot about it).
Bottom line - You work hard for your money and deserve to live in a place where you are treated like a valued customer. It is unlikely that you will find that experience here, and there are lots of apartments in this area that are competing for your business. Shop around.

Very well stated. I agree with your entire review and hope it helps warn others of this complex.

You are right! The manager is very rude, even on a good day. You are a number at this property, not a customer. Run away, I am not one to make negative comments, however the manager is one to put a smiling face as you walk up and stab you on your way in. There are aggressive dogs on the property even though they are not allowed.
