I do see the repair workers working and working hard at it. they come quick when you need them.
However, living in texas must just come with roaches and ants. One from up north where roaches do not live might have a tough time living here. It doesn't matter if you keep your place clean here. You can go away for months and come back and find them.
The Laundry facilities here are worthless.
Be sure to read and understand what you sign before living here. No one has explained why you don't deal directly with your electricity provider (and won't give out their number either), and even the electricity provider says they cannot answer any of your questions due to a contract they signed with westcliff. Most times it felt like our bill was made up. That just goes to show how unclear these things were. BTW, we made our electricity checks and water out to westcliff. Zero explaination on individual bills. When I moved out and tried to explain to an electricity company for my new place why I didn't deal directly with one for the past few years, they didn't even understand this.
If you view an apartment with old carpet, and want new carpet, expect to pay $25 dollars more than what is advertised for the apartment, and have to sign a 1-year lease instead of 6 months. Oh and, you don't get to take the carpet you pay for in the end with you when you move out by the way. On the bright side, if you move in on the West side (lower end) you'll get new carpet, after the anual floods. Oh and even if you don't get new carpet when you move in and live there for two years...they will STILL have the nerve to charge you for a carpet cleaning for moveout charges!!!! I can't believe this! I have never been more insulted.
These people are not honest. Don't let them fool you into thinking they are honest people. they have many ridiculous policies and unexplained ways to take your money. All businesses have expenses, but this apartment will find ways to make your pay for their expenses.

Their way of dealing with bills etc was rediculous. We couldn't get a deduction on our electricity for our new place because we couldn't prove to the electric company that we had paid our bills on time because it was through Westcliff. Expect to pay an arm and a leg when you move out. They charge redicluous cleaning costs and the bills are about 2 months behind so you are still paying bills long after you move out which doesn't work on set incomes. Difficult to deal with when all is said and done.
