I have lived here for almost a year and have had an okay experince. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the apartments themselves are another deal. My apartment is one that has yet to be remodeled and it shows (but it was shown to me before I signed.) There were stains on the floors (the carpet really needs to be replaced) and countertops from previous tenants and there were loose handles on the cabinents. The toilet seats were also loose. The A/C didn't work for a long time and they didn't fix it until summer and my upstairs apartment would get overheated even in winter and I would have to open the windows to cool it off. The neighbor below me was always quiet and kept to himself, but the neighbors across from me (two different sets) were very loud and smoke and drank on the back balconey and left cigarette butts and beer bottles everywhere. The neighbors below them tend to be messy and leave trash everywhere, but are quiet. My power recently went out due to poor wiring (the plastic cap on top of the wire had melted off due to an electrical fire... lucky me my apartment didn't burn down because the one smoke detector in the apartment was in the hall and doesn't work) but it was promptly fixed. Parking is sparse in the front of the complex where my apartment is located due to the neighbor's parties and people parking there whose apartments aren't even near that side of the lot. The complex seemed safe over all and the landscaping was well taken care of. It was okay for the price and for being an older complex and it is right by a grocery store and close to TCU and the mall.
