I moved in on July 2005 on the apartment unit 2817 it is a two room two bath for 410 a month. I had lived in UTA Apartments for 10 years and my apartment built in the 1960's was in better condition than these units. I am a correctional worker in a nearby federal prison. I say all that to insure credibility from my personal experiences here strongly do not recommend anyone renting with any wisdom anyway from this renting on this property. You name the character and crime its here in daylight and night. No armed security none period, police dept real close 5-10 minutes response time however only two out of 7 calls including one I recovered a mans wallet just outside my patio door and one my guest had a drug dealer demand entrance and asked what type of locks I had on apartment. That night 911 failed at least three times I came home to find a frightened house guest and no police response in over 6 hours even after multiple calls. Ridiculous and Fort Worth Police and Dispatch should be reprimended. They use the interior grass areas to go through undetected. This is a very poor income minority based community. The overall community has allowed apathy and neglect and criminal elements to perminate this whole area of apartments. My apartment Old Carpet, Old 60's era applicances, no inside storage areas for clothing or anything above 18" in height. cable is offered only with off wall company name Y cable company Only dish good alternative provided they do not steal it and you have clear S-SW view from patio. Too much and I researched them poor quality on cable and broadband. I believe the owner is someone from Canada that takes this as some sort of tax write off as the community which may have been nice sometime years back had been largely left to the thugs. This experience has left a very bad lingering horrible experience in my mind. Fort Worth from what I see is lawless and run down. The owner of said property whom is in Canada seems to be very uninterested in the residents or upkeep of this apartment complex. No improvement no investment in property, multiple cuts in fence line make this central expressway for prostitutes drug dealing, robbery burglary and occasional cross fire shootings and within the past week gang influnce in known drug traffic area on West Wind Circle. Staff on site do not live here they get out before sundown. Some realty firm in Irving "manages" this place. The manager has plenty of bad attitude to go with her apathy. The assistant turn over has been three. Maintenance turnover one. They have parking policy they do not enforce thus even today 3/20/2006 I have not a parking place for one vehicle because a resident''' has two trailers and two broken vehicles stack in parking area that already has the lines drawn in such small configurations your vehicle is subject to dents and chips just by parking there and heaven help you if near a fence walkway opening. My flooring in Kitchen is is 20-30 degree bowed in floor. Phone jack in all areas but one do not work. I question in fireplace has ever been professionally cleaned I know the air ducts have not. Here I thought I could get along with people even thou the rent was so reasonable. I know now to look into many more things before giving my good name on a contract when the renter is "questionable" at best. I even think the TAA on which they tout as being accountable to clearly have been misrepresented by this apartment complex. Oh..yes My name is Donald W. Purciful. I welcome any questions about my comments I stand behind them in full.

I live in this apartment, in unit 1206. I agree with his statements, although I have not had problems with the management, I have had problems with people speeding through the parking lot as I walk my 2 year old to the car, prostitution in the parking lot, and the fact that the pool is still closed, it is April 24, 2006 and we have had two days where it was 100 already, and they claim that the pool won't be open until the middle of May, so I think that they don't plan and coordinate things very well.

Hello fellow neighbor. Speeding people through parking lot yes even with speed bumps although I tend to think most do not have a car as they seem to walk everywhere hang out on the side yards and throw their fast food meals on the parking spaces and drop the trash inches from the trash bin on the ground. Yes too be sure to say hello to that dark mazza car with four prostitutes use as the changing shed and the corner next to the dumpster as the point where the goods are sold. Certainly too Drug thug has solicted help from the other complex overlooking the access to the torn up playground on their side. Management has calm down and they are about to loose another assistant working the weekend. I commend you for being brave as I have never walked near that pool after my night shift much less the laundry site where they pee in the dryers and tear up the vending machines. I did notice that people not living here tearing up the locks and swiming here unsupervised and likely not residents either. The weak attempts at patching the fence..I watch the really trash people tear them down including some lady with a stroller. You would think they would used welded fortified metal. Prostitution yes as rampart as ever and we have a neighborhood drug thug with his dark blue gang punks and yes likely his older ancient gang members whom wear the very blue skull caps. They ride around on bicyles, late model cars with loud stereos that sound so torn up and they are so proud of them they entertain you from 0200 am on. Oh and likely they barely have electricity as some of the group has the windows open trash all around and drugged up women wandering aimless towards them in the humid glare..that was better than a scary movie that night. The police finally caught some action in a set of apartments near the infamous trash bin but the grafitti suggest that a gang group has stake out all the ajoining apartment complexes and yes they even have associates park and chase the place with binoculars. I am very thankful to be moving by the 31 August timeframe. I hope that the few decent people left will reclaim the "gheto" and turn it into a neighborhood you can trully live in piece and not have to worry about crime, drugs, gangs, scumbags and total lack of security and very unorganized uncoordinated activities of the local police as they tend to look the other way and stay clear of bringing an end to this nonsense. This leaves a very bitter taste for me on Fort Worth. May you be safe and happy until that day. At my worksite I will keep a light on and a prison job for the thugs that think they rule over there. I always can hire more and hopefully they can have a nice career in my guarded housing units cleaning toilets picking up trash and wondering just what joker is checking them out. Remember they got nothing coming and only time to do the crime is they are not here yet and pestering you. We both deserve better after all we work hard and pay the bills and taxes. Best Wishes Mr. P.
