In response to the positive reviews submitted for Bay Meadows Apartments I would like to say thank you for acknowledging a job well done and the efforts made daily by the staff to provide you and your family with a pleasant home.
In response to the "Anonymous" negative reviews submitted for Bay Meadows Apartments I would like to respond with the following.
Ownership of this property changed hands in April 2003 since then the owners have spent approximately $200,000 on improving both the exterior and interior, very recently a new playground was installed. We offer upgraded units that include crown molding, designer light & plumbing fixtures, imported ceramic tile, bevelled mirrors in the dining room and baths and two tone paint.
With regards to slow maintenance we have experienced some staff turnover and challenges in the past year that has made it difficult to be as efficient as we want to be. We have a great staff now and we are working and monitoring daily our response time to requests, completing work order calls backs to ensure a job well done. We have had trash issues due to our neighbors in the surroounding sub division using our trash receptable as well as residents placing large items in and around the dumpsters, the owners pay an additional fee almost weekly to have these large items removed. Regarding the water issues, we have had one boiler repaired and one replaced over the past year. Water has been cut off as we have repaired and replaced faulty valves and in some cases installed shut off valves where none existed in our efforts of preventive maintenance as some of these valves were faulty and we did not want to risk them bursting and flooding the residents homes, so while this has been an inconvenice any resident who has had to deal with this problem in the past will tell you it is MUCH less inconvenient that dealing with a flooded home. Lastly the office staff has been reduced to a full time manager and a part time assistant manager so there will be times when the office is unattended this is usually during the lunch time hours. The staff at Bay Meadows has worked very hard to improve the property and maintain a standard of excellcence for all of our residents. No we are not perfect, yes we have and will make mistakes. However, I would like to request that rather than send in complaints anonymously, contact the manager, submit your requests, sugggestions, ideas, in the event you do not receive satisfcation the management companies phone number is listed on the office wall or ANY staff member will provide it to you. You as residents are VERY important to us, we want to keep you happy and keep you with us, the longer you stay the less stress we have and the more stable and closeknit our community can become.
