DO NOT MOVE HERE

The only good review on this place was probably written by the assistant manager himself. I have lived at Baywood for 3 years. When I first moved here I was happy with the place. The old management team was awesome. Since the new management people have come in the standard of living here has gone done tremendously. I am currently dealing with a huge rat infestation problem in my building. I am not naive enough to believe it is only my building! After MANY verbal complaints I wrote a certified letter of complaint about the rats, mold in the apartment, and the CONSTANT piles of dog crap in the grass and even on the sidewalk. Management put out a trap for 1 week (WHICH CAUGHT NOTHING!) and spray painted over the mold. My husband has killed 5 of the rats himself and we have seen more since. Disgusting!!! We are in the process of hiring an attorney to get us out of this god forsaken place because I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and am NOT interested in bringing a newborn into this place. Although Baywood is relatively cheap you get what you pay for. I could give you a LIST of complaints about Baywood but just know that you need to keep looking. Its not worth being stuck in a lease here ... trust me.

LOL .. again, probably a review by the assistant manager himself or one of his friends since he DOES live on the property. Believe what you want but considering that a large majority of the reviews of Baywood are extremely negative I would say I am NOT the one who is off base here. But let me guess, we are all just "having a bad day." Right! The truth is that since the new management has come in most of the long term tenants have left because they too saw how horrible this place has gotten. Now most of the tenants are young people who may be willing to sacrifice standard of living for the cheap rent. In fact, one of the punk kids who lives in the complex actually shot my husband in the head with a bebe gun not too long ago. We called the cops and complained to management. Funny, even though the lease agreement specifically prohibits firearms of any kind on the property, those kids are STILL living at Baywood. Like I said, I could go on and on with legitimate complaints about this place but I think I will leave the rest to my attorney!!!

Thanks for your support, Mom2be313. A mistake of leasing here once is a learning experience. Renewing a lease is insanity, unless one enjoyed living in these horrible conditions. Personally, I have found something much better. Have a good day.

I just don't feel that all of these complaints are about the apartment itself. I think that it has to do with how the actual resident is themselves. Baywood is a nice community for families along with single people. Management is not the issue here. If you don't like it here then maybe you should not waste your time with an attorney and just get out. I think that maybe your husband did something to piss someone off and then the other fought back. Sorry but I don't feel sorry for you and just stop complaining and fyi this is not the manager or asst manager or a friend of the manager just a resident that is happy where I am.
