Not bad, not good...about average

This complex has a nice appearance to it, but beauty is more than skin deep. My experience here has been underwhelming considering the rent level they charge. Here's an honest overview:
CONS:
Broken controlled access gates most of the time, noise from upstairs neighbors is unreal (bad noise dampening between floors), dog piles in the entry walk grass areas, high electric bills, crappy cable tv and internet (no Time Warner...only Ygnition, a DirecTV reseller and it sucks badly), lack of common maintenance (light bulbs, leaky faucet, smoke detector batteries, air filters, pest control), insufficient free parking, influx of Katrina refugees (they are beginning to decline)
PROS
Attractive complex, 9' ceilings, large floor plans, large patios, garages, greenspaces, kind office and maintenance personnel
My 2-2 with rent, garage, water and trash runs me about $1000 month, give or take. Electric bill average $170-$250 month. At $800 I would probably recommend them, but at $1000, you may as well rent a house.
