Wonderful Place To Live

We have lived here for 4 1/2 years and still are very happy. Yes, one of the gates is always open, but that's what happens when people do not know how to drive and hit the gates. People also have taken them off of the tracks in the past, for what reason, who knows. About the picnic area being full of water, well, maybe it is because it is a retention pond! I think, if I am not mistaken, that a retention pond is there to retain water'''' Yes, there are picnic tables installed there, but when we have had as much rain as we have had this year, yes, it is going to be muddy and have water in it. I live pretty close to the retention pond and have not had a mosquito or bug problem this year. Yes, the outside of some of the buildings need the trim replaced, but I have spoken with the office staff and they mentioned that they are in the process of getting bids to repair and repaint the entire complex. Anytime we have had a maintenance issue it has ALWAYS been resolved the same day. I have never seen the manager or any of the staff on their cell phones in 4 years and that includes the past staff also. As for rude children and not feeling safe seeing questionable people here, isn't that what the courtesy officer is here for'' I just LOVE when people moan and groan and NEVER pick up the phone to report anything. I pay too much money to live in fear here and if it means calling the courtesy officer I will do it. If I see something going on that shouldn't I either call the office staff or the after hours number and have always had the problem taken care of. There are some things that just can't be controlled, for instance the idiots that have dogs and can't pick up after their animals. It would be IMPOSSIBLE for the office staff to patrol the grounds 24/7. What do you want them to do, get a sample and run a dna test on it'' The only thing they can do is put it in the newsletters and hope that the idiots who don't pick up after their dogs read it! I recommend these apartments all the time. Take a look at the two apartment complexes right in front of ours and tell me that you would rather live there than here! As for the pool being broken for months at a time, when exactly was that' In 4 1/2 years the longest the pool has EVER been down was 2 or 3 weeks and that was because they were waiting on a part. I wish that people would GROW UP and post truthfully on here. Keep bad mouthing the place and before you know it the only option that the staff will have is to rent to scum because no one decent will want to live here. The only reason we will eventually move out is when we buy a house of our own. This has been a great place to live. I hope the office staff and the maintenance staff keeps up the great work. I know that the majority of the residents appreciate the job they do!
