We can't wait to get out of here.
The management does nothing at all to help residents. We have scary neighbours, with loud music and questionable parties all night long. Security does not do anything about neighbors with wrongful behavior, they refuse to come out and help. They take a message for the management. Management does not do anything about it the next day. They act like they never got the message when I walk in the office.
My clothes smell like smoke in our closets, because the neighbors are smokers.
You can't cook, because the smoke detector is located almost above your stove!!! It goes off every time we turn on the burner.
Our microwave has been broken for 3 months, management failed to replace it (we ask about it every week).
What else'
The building is poor design, cheap quality.
The downstairs apartment was painted today and the painter failed to open the windows all the way. He left a 4 inch gap only. Needless to say that the TOXIC fumes ended up in our apartment through the vents and through the gaps and cracks of the building, and the management failed ( REFUSED!!!) to come out and open the windows to air the apartment out downstairs. I could have left my windows open and either get more of the fumes or freeze to death in this cold, or both.
Stay away!
The pool is closed, the hot tub has been broken since May 2008.
The office is closed on the weekends due to high occupancy. WTF!! The laundry room is filthy and the gym has not been swept and mopped since we moved in in 2007!
...and they got the nerve to raise the rent for their services!!!
What services are they talking about'
This place is a disaster. It used to be nice when we moved in. It was safe, it was quiet, affordable....NOT ANYMORE!!

UPDATE:

3 Days after my review guess what happens' The hot tub is getting fixed! Yeey!

Oh, and by the way, there is one thing I would like to point out.
I have talked about the negative things that have happened in the past year and a half, but there is one person who has been great all along, and I don't want anyone to think that any of this would be his fault.
GABRIEL, WE LOVE YOU! YOU ARE THE BEST! We are going to miss you.

This place is great, so give it a rest. ******************************************************************* Now,Happy_Tenant1, everyone has different experiences with apartments. If you are happy, that is wonderful; just remember it is not always a bed of roses for other residents.

As management I would like to respond to this. The pools and hot tubs were closed due to new required regulations. These type of repairs require companies coming out and submitting bids for the work needed to be done. The bids have been submitted and the repairs scheduled. All community pools have had to adhere to these new guidelines. We thought taking care of this during the winter months would be the most sensible. The pools will be open by spring. The apartment below you had to have counter tops resurfaced. It was the fumes from this, not the painting that traveled through the air vents. I spoke with Gabriel, whom you thankfully were very happy with. He was called after hours about the smell and was not able to make it back to the property. I also spoke with him about the microwave issue and he said he went to the apartment and was told by the man of the house that the microwave was working. I'm not sure what happened there, but do apologize for any mis-communication. The laundry rooms as well as the gym are cleaned every Tuesday. Unfortunately some residents do not know how to keep it up in between cleanings. I know you have since moved. I am sorry you had a bad experience here and hope your new home is everything you wished for. Sincerely, Management
