Nothing has changed...

I wrote a review a few months ago about the poor situation at the Lodge, and nothing has changed. My car was broken into a few months ago---my stereo and entry clicker were both stolen. I filed a police report and talked to the office, but they were extremly apathetic. I asked for a replacement clicker but they said they had no more and gave me a code to punch into the gate keypad. The code they gave me opens the opposite side of the gate to which I need access, so everytime I come home, I have to drive all the way around the complex to get to my building. I was concerned about the welfare of other residents when I told the office my gate clicker was stolen. She told me that the gates are for "access" and not "crime prevention." What a load of crap. They put "No trespassing" signs on both walk in gates, but people (probably maintinence) prop them open. I check my mail late in the evening just to make sure they are closed because I care more about the residents than the office people do...

I agree that this place is a crime ridden slum.

If you are due a refund (i.e. security deposit or other) and have not received it you can file in small claims court for 3 times your deposit and court fees. I believe the courthouse is on Diana street just off of Bay Area Blvd in the city of Webster. ...It's worth it! |
