An unbelieveable ant infestation is only the most recent problem. Many tenants are slobs, many are young and many don't give a hoot about the place. At least two indoor parties in the common area were complete blowouts with the place utterly trashed (and vandalized on one occasion). Ditto for a volleyball party that went on until 1 AM.

Dogs are allowed to crap everywhere, so kids playing outdoors are bound to get into it.

There are a couple of barking dogs that are left out on the patios all night, ruining sleep.

Tenants leave garbage outside doors for days on end.

Rats populate the dumpster area, which is unconscionably filthy much of the time.

Complaints about greasy drippings on stairs, which need pressure-washing badly, go unanswered.

Three or more police officers live here, and at least two of them are "courtesy" officers, but I have no idea if they have any influence. And two of them live so far from the problem areas that they probably get a good night's sleep.

Security gates are all broken, so anyone can walk in and out. The auto gates are left open because people keep running into them. Because they're open, cars blast through them, and I have had two REALLY close calls in the past two weeks.
