I lived at the Lodge for 5 years and the place was great when I moved in and like others have stated the complex went downhill under new management. I've been out for about 8 months and just received a settlement check from Lodge @ Baybrook. I had to file a lawsuit and follow it through to get my deposit back. The Lodge @ Baybrook never showed up for court and ignored every letter from my attorney. I had to file a writ of execution with the court and have a Constable collect the judgment for me. Only upon the threat of seizing property did the corporate office respond with payment. The Constable told me the person he spoke to at the Lodge office about the matter was a real smarta*s and the person he spoke to at the corporate office in LA was even a bigger smarta*s. A former tenant I know personally is also in the same boat can not get her deposit back and she is handing it over to the same attorney that helped me. My suggestion to anyone moving out of the Lodge @ Baybrook is to deduct your deposit amount from your last month s rent and let them bill you for any damages.

If you are due a refund (i.e. security deposit or other) and have not received it you can file in small claims court for 3 times your deposit and court fees. I believe the courthouse is on Diana street just off of Bay Area Blvd in the city of Webster. ...It's worth it!
