I would like to hear from the person who said they had to get a lawyer to get their deposit back-I am currently waiting for mine...about $500 is what I am supposed to get. I set up a hotmail account- peoplewhohatethelodge@hotmail.com.... so if you see this review please let me know what you had to do.

I completely agree with every negative rating this place has received. I moved out in May of this year after living there for 2.5 years.... I can't believe I made it that long. The place was horrible. MBS mgmt is the worst mgmt group I have EVER dealt with. I am not sure if anyone else saw the Leeward/Winward on the news the other day but they are MBS mgmt also--not the first time they hit the news either for poor mgmt and huge problems.

When I lived at the Lodge we had a HUGE break in problem-people's apartments and cars were getting broken into all the time--in one year we had over 30 break-ins--do you think the staff or MBS did anything-not a chance. People were actually in their apartments when they were getting broken into. One girl I know got her apt broken into on a sat evening and they came in through the sliding doors....she got out and called 911 and the staff called the maintenance ppl who put cardboard up on the sliding door -since it had been broken- the thief's came back later that night and broke in again to the same apartment---the mgmt company still did NOTHING....our lights around the complex were always out and NEVER replaced---the security gates are ALWAYS broken---always---I think collectively they were working for maybe 30 days out of the 2.5 years I lived there....the pool was closed often-the majority of last summer .the supposed security onsite was 2 cops who just lived there---they were supposed to canvas the area each day but I think I saw them twice .in 2.5 years .. they get free rent to do this and they don t do crap ..one of them even told me that he has a regular life and goes to the store and goes out so if something happened then he can t do anything about it .we tried to get direct numbers to our security so that in the event something happened we could contact them and they could assist since they would be closer than anyone else----of course we would call 911 first---but we were denied access to any pager number or cell phone number because they said it was a liability concern that people would just call them and not 911 .what a crock ..
I can't even list all the hundreds of problems I had with them. ALL I CAN SAY IS NEVER LIVE AT AN MBS PROPERTY-EVER!

Thanks!

The Lodge is a horrible place to live ever since the MBS corporation bought the place. It went from a top class apartment to slum living. The building I was in had rodents in the attic and they would not get an exterminator... instead, after many weeks of complaining they put hundreds of mothballs in the attic to chase the rodents out. It did chase the rodents out and also the got me and other very ill. The Lodge is a dangerous place to live!!!
