I've liked it here

I've been here for a year now and liked it. Someone mentioned that the office staff can be snobby. The only one that I found to be snobby was Cindy. She seems like she's nice to people only because she has to be. She's been there a while, so maybe she's burned out. The manager, Alesha, is really nice, and there's another one there named Sam that is great to work with as well. I've only had to call maintenance a couple of times for minor things like a leaky kitchen sink drain and my screen door. One time the drain did back up on a Sunday evening, and maintenance was there within a couple of hours to fix it. There have been some issues with noise. One apartment got rented to some serious partiers, so every weekend there was a bunch of drunk hollering on their porch. Ironically enough, they lived downstairs from Cindy, the snobby office girl. Evidently she didn't care or was partying with them, because it carried on for a while, and the cops were called a couple of times. The lowest part of the lawn does flood during heavy rains, and a good hill is built between it and the apartment buildings at the bottom of the hill. The heavy storms we had in May 2007 never did get the water over that hill. During normal weather, the ground is solid and people use it to play soccer or run their dogs. The parking is definitely less than plentiful, and you'll be best off getting a covered spot or a garage. Also during the heavy storms previous mentioned, the parking lot flooded really badly at the bottom of the hill. Most vehicles were ok, but a Corvette got damaged and had electrical problems, due to its low height most likely. The owner of the Corvette moved out shortly afterwards, so be careful if you end up in the buildings at the bottom of the hill. The pool is kept clean from what I see, and the hot tub seems ok, people use it regularly, although I've never been in it myself. The laundry room does only have 2 washers and dryers, so take advantage of the washer and dryer hookups in your own apartment. There is a laundromat on Main st in Frisco, too, if needed in a pinch.
