Hello
I am writing this review to inform those who wish to live here of the following:
We have been here only a few months and our experience up to now has been OK. But since my upstairs neighbors moved in it has been a nightmare!!! My new neighbors come in late ( after 11:00 and have "heavy feet" which wakes you up on a nightly basis. In addition a dog that runs around like it is doing the "Kentucky Derby".
I have complained to the management several times... I was told to call the police. Twice I have done this. As recent as last night at 1:45am. I guess the apartment management has warned them but this does not seem to help.
So after several attempts to resolve this with management, calling the police and reporting to management I still have the same problems of noise. I will update this if any resolution is found to this problem...
The ladies in the office are nice and helpful in other areas... Such as getting things fixed. But I do not see an end to my noise problem.
When management reads this review they will know who I am... That does not bother me in the least. It is the truth and others should be told about this problem so you can decide for yourself if this is "The lifestyle you have been waiting for" in the apartments ads.
UPDATED 5/31/07
After several conversations with the apartment manager and assurances that it is being dealt with... My noise issue continues. Weather the tenant above me "actually" got spoken with or not is up for debate. But bottom line is that it continues.
I am writing this at 2:55 am ( because I was once again woke up )
I am seeking legal counsel to break my lease and see what my options are.
Updated 5/31/2007 - Daytime
Finally met with "Holly" the apartment manager today... In the afternoon. She has promised to address the issue with my noisy neighbors. I am causiously optomistic. But I am also going the "legal" route until I see improvement in the situation.
Updated 7/7/2007 - Daytime
The upstairs neighbors have now been moved. It was quiet for a few weeks. Now a new neighbor is moving in... Hopefully it will be quieter.
The "process" to get the noise problem was long... But it seems as if the management had to follow a set of guidelines to solve the issue. During the process the ladies in the office were helpful and responsive. So I am happy and well rested :-)

I am reading your updated news. Please keep me posted. You have encouraged me at the very least to live on the top floor so this is not an issue for me or my 17-month old son.

I lived at the Lodge from 2003-2005 and I loved my apartment but I experienced the same issue. The people above me came home at 11:00 p.m. and sounded like a bunch of elephants. Oh, boy, did your posting open old wounds. My heart goes out to you. Sadly, the office told me the same as they did you. First, the posted a notice at the door of the resident above me with the "tread lightly" and "be a good neighbor" page of the lease, then they asked me to talk to them directly and I did, then they asked me to call the police. I found myself numerous time banging the ceiling with a broom and screaming at them in the middle of the night. When nothing worked and the office basically said there wasn't much they could do, I moved. I hope it works out for you but I have read many reviews from apts. all over town re. noise levels. It's normally best to live on the top floor if that's an option. At the time, I had big, old and arthritic dogs and didn't have a choice, I had to live on lower levels. They are now in heaven and I can select top floors. Good luck everyone!

It does... XxmaryjanexX... It says I am not getting pushed out by fat asses ( maybe like yourself ) that have no consideration for others. Follow the lease agreement ( "after 11 pm" be quiet ). The lease agreement does not say quiet when convienent... This is for everybody, not just a few.
Oh.. By the way... XxmaryjanexX. Atleast I am not hiding behind my ID.
