Mgmt should be ashamed

The complex has a lot of potential, but they have dropped the ball. The new management is horrible.
1.) They need to do something about the parking NOW. It is non-existent. The parking is cut-throat, and residents park in any place they can, including no-parking zones that block others in. I complained about this, and mgmt told me that they had "maintenance on the lookout" for violaters. If that was true, then it wouldn't have continued for weeks. I went back to the office and asked about it again, and the maintenance manager said, in front of the office staff, that it was the first he'd heard of it. Lie to the residents much' People also have parked their broken-down cars at the mailboxes, and management looks the other way. Dirt parking lots, nails everywhere, and mud...how many complaints does it take to get this repaired' I also got a garage when I moved in, and they gave me one that was already occupied. When I told them that there was stuff in it, they told me to throw it out. Then the owner showed up and freaked out...got maintenance raising their voice to me until I made them call the office. Then they offered to move the things I had placed in that garage, and they moved it to the wrong one. I happened to see my bookshelves as a neighbor was leaving and told her that they were mine. She said, "I was wondering how those got there!" Duh.
2.) It's a party place...a lot of college age kids drinking and throwing cig butts all over the yards. One apartment even has an old natsy couch on his balcony in view of everyone where they hang out drinking and talking until dawn like this was Bourbon Street...where are the standards''
3.)No one picks up after their dogs. If you would like to walk around and enjoy the grounds, you had better tie a few Albertson's bags around your shoes. You can report the ones that do it all day long...all you'll get is, "Maintenance is keeping an eye on it." Sheesh.
4.) The grounds are very dark. Safety is not a priority.
5.) Horrible phone, cable and internet services. You have no choice in who you can use, and they rip you off. SBC cable installers messed up my two lines in a big way, then blamed the complex...the complex blamed the phone company...on and on. The maintenance staff says they can't fix it, SBC says they can't fix it...who's telling the truth here' Very bad experience...still only have a phone line in one jack after 7 months. Pathetic.
The old management (Lincoln Properties) were much more kind and solution-oriented than the new management (Graystar). The new staff have been well trained in procrastination, dishonesty, and passing the buck. Could be nice, but is rapidly rolling downhill. Will not be renewing, even if it costs me.
