It's not bad, not great

It's quiet (mostly), there's very little ambient light to keep you up at night, its affordable, and it's got a great location. But there are loud neighbors on the weekends, very little parking (although it has improved a little), and the new management is just as slow as the last one at getting maintenence requests filled. I've lived here for 2 years now, and ever time I have ever called maintenence, I end up having to call 3, 4 or even 5 times, only to find they never put my request into the computer. That's under BOTH managers. The parking situation has improved, but there's still at least one night a week where I end up having to park out in the field because there's nowhere else to park.

Also, the pipes have burst in 3rd-floor apartments twice in the time I've lived here. This last time happened in my building and the alarm went going off for a very long time before it was fixed. I've lived in much worse places than this in cheaper buildings and in colder weather and never had that happen even once, much less twice in 2 years. Seems kind of like shoddy workmanship to me.

But, if you want to live in Frisco and not have to pay $800 a month for a one-bedroom apartment, this is probably the best you can do. The Country Club is right behind it, and you can see some fantastic fireworks every Fourth of July from your balcony. The Frisco RoughRiders live here and you can get free baseball tickets every so ofetn at the office. But I've lived in better places. We're moving at the end of our lease, and the only reason we didn't move at the end of our last lease is that we couldn't find anything else in our price range.
