We live on the first floor. We lived here about 3 months when a young couple with a 2 year old son moved in above us. The child runs and jumps from 5pm until midnight. The manager told us to call the courtesy officer everytime. He came out each time and wrote up reports but now the manager won't talk to us. We are going to have to hire an attorney to resolve this matter and to break our lease!!

they have a child and you live in an apartment not a home. maybe you should looka t buying a home umm like 100 miles away from anyone so you can not hear the foot steps of any young child. and getting an attorney will not help you do to the fact Texas is a Landlord state so the laws are more for the landlord then you... good luck in finding an attorney to take your case...
