I considered moving here because of its proximity to my work, so after work one day I paid the complex a visit.
When I walked in, there were two women sitting at their desks.
No one bothered to greet me, so I actually walked into the office where one of them had their head down.
She looks up at me, and then at her coworker and says, "Just give him some prices."
I really wish I were making this up, as it would be more comical, but the sad part is I am being serious.
After the deathly bored lady told her coworker to 'give me prices,' one of them handed me an orange piece of paper (it was a copy of another flyer) that I guess was supposed to pass as a floor plan.
It had a dollar figure on it and that's about it.
They didn't offer to give me a tour, they didn't talk about amenities, and they didn't offer me water or even ask me when my lease was up, or ask me my name.
In fact, if I hadn't spoken they probably wouldn't have known I was from this planet.
