From bad to worse ....

I moved to the Silverado apartments last year and will not be renewing my lease. Much like the other posts have stated, this complex is by far the worst managed property in the entire DFW area. The problems are numerous: 1) Trash all over the complex -- one dumpster. When new mangament took over last year, they let the much needed porter go. 2) Too many unsupervised children. 3) Water pipes can be audibly heard from every room. 4) Maintenance is slow or, at best, uneven in response times. 5) Parking infractions are ignored. 6) TERMITES! 7) Accounting errors. 8) New management tactics has created an environment of hostility between tenants and with the office. The newsletter that was put on the door today - half of which were floating on the breezeway floor - was full of nothing but rants from management and a lame arse recipe. The full brunt of the blame for the problems here should fall directly on the assistant and community managers. Neither of them return phone calls nor speak to tenants in a courteous manner. The outside upgrades include new paint and a sign, but this complex is nothing more than a high-priced trailer park.
