I stayed out here for one year. I wanted to stay longer but budget did not permit it. I enjoyed my stay while I was here. I lived in building 12 and never had any issues with any of my neigbors. I met two very lovely ladies that lived in my building and enjoyed conversations with them. Last year, while there was a tornado warning in Frisco, our lower level neighbors let us in their apartmnet @ around 4am while wildly knocking on their door. They were kind and understanding. That was much appreciated... you hardly see that. I never had any issues with the office staff. I paid my rent on time and never had any issues with them -well- in the beginning I did but it wasn't their fault-- it was due to the previous management that didn't handle the books right. But it was fixed and all was well. We enjoyed bbqs at the pool and walks in the evening. Now towards the end, I did find too many kids on the grounds not enought parent supervision. There were actually kids that would knock on my door asking for handouts!!!! Can you believe that' I never opened my door but seriously... that's too embarrasing!!! Shame on the kids and shame on the parents! I have seen the same kids running around attempting to open doors to cars-- checking to see which ones were open!! SO BEWARE!!! LOCK YOUR CARS and DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING VALUABLE IN YOUR CAR!!!!!! Maintenance folks were good too. They never hesitated to answer a question or hand over a filter when asked. Appreciate it!!! Kudos for you guys!!! The only thing that I didn't like was the kids running around, I do admit, I did see some drug stuff going on. Seen it and SMELLED it. Too many dogs in the complex and the owners DO NOT CLEAN UP AFTER THEM. I used to live on the third floor and I would sit and smoke a cig and see the people with their dogs... they would take a poop and just walk away!!! Left me Fuming!!!!! Parking can get a little frustrating. They should limit the cars that the tenants have or hand out parking stickers and start towing. Some tenants have up to four cars.
I never had any roaches, any crazy bugs, any mildew, my fridge worked, my microwave worked, my washer and dryer worked, my bathrooms worked. Like I said. I would have definitely stayed another year but I just needed to cut my budget. If you rent here ask for APT 1236.

I appreciate your insite and comments. I work 2 jobs, so did not witness most of what you have written. Knowledge is power, you know? The hand-out kids probably go hungry bc their parents neglect their food needs, I suspect. Sad. Further verifies the lack of adequate parenting in the complex. I do keep car locked up; still good to be reminded... I noticed dog droppings, and have witnessed also the inconsiderate nature of the pet owners. The apartment needs to levy the fines that they threaten; not just on paper. Agreed strongly with you that the staff should register one vehicle per working stiff and enforce the towing policy. Stickers on the cars are good; s/b updated every 6 months. And the towing company needs to have "visiting" rights to TOW AT WILL any vehicles unattended at the 5-minute mail parking, any handicapped w/o HC license or placard, double parking, blocking of sidewalk ramps, or any Mover's Van that sticks around during the week for over 4 hr stops or weekends over 8 hours. Now as far as the bugs... LOL I live on the bottome floor, so I will get 90% of anything that crawls to begin with (so keep that in mind)... Silverfishes - on going problem; boric acid & RAID helps. Roaches - new visitors in the last 3 weeks. And these are very brazen, showing up during the daytime, lights on, moving about like they belong. More chemicals needed (I do my own bc have handicapped family member w/me and have to work in the treatments when he's safely out). Mildew? Yes, one wall was saturated and I directed the maintenance guy HOW to fix it (prior owners). No problem since. Entire North side of building seems to have issues. Appliances fine; mostly new; no problems. ** Did renew; place still meets our needs more than doesn't **
