Distgusting and foul episode with Maint. Staff!

OK - this makes me want to puke, but I have to get it out there so people know what they will be dealing with if they are foolish enough to move into this complex.
I had a certain issue in my main bathroom. Staff was in to look at it three times before they finally figured out what it was. I still have to live here for the next few months so forgive me for not being more specific.
Anyway, the repair was rather extensive and took all day. When I left in the morning the workers were just getting started and were walking out as I came home from work.
As I entered the apartment I immediately noticed that something was very wrong. First, there was a mist in the air - an almost oily acrid haze. It was all over the table tops. Also, there was a real bad smell. I mean, rotten!
I opened the patio doors and turned on all the exhaust fans and that seemed to help somewhat. I went about my business of winding down from a busy day at work, when nature called and I got up to go take a wiz-popper. I went in my bathroom, flipped up the lid and the seat, and there it was! The dirtiest, most hideous mound of dung I've ever seen in my life. There's no way this didn't come from at least 2 big guys, maybe 3!
At first I thought it was my girlfriend who is a vegetarian which can produce some fairly bizarre end results at times, but she was in California with her sister at the time, so it wasn't her. I knew it wasn't me. That meant it was one of the maintenance monkeys who fixed my leak. Maybe all of them!
The ultimate irony is that the toilet was plugged by this ungodly thing and I couldn't get anyone on the phone to come fix it until the next morning.
All in all, a very ghastly experience to say the least...

You are unclear on some parts of your experience:
You say "I had a certain issue in my main bathroom". If you choose to be detailed about summarizing the nastiness afterward, then why are you vague about what the intial problem was? It may help to account for the oily mess, odor, and subsequent residue in the toilet perhaps?
When you called them:
What was their explanation of the incident? Their first reaction when you told them of the problem? What was that oily mist? Did their crew members 'do the deed'?
You do not say.
They did remedy the situation the next day...you said.
As much of a pain as it was to live with this overnight, they did take care of it the next day, and you did have another toilet at your disposal.
Something like this, if it did happen as you claim, falls on you to please disclose more of the entire picture. If you can't back it up with adequate facts, then what you are saying can be (mis)interpreted as merely sour grapes.
It is good that you shared this info with us and we thank you, just please be a bit more detailed in the future so that we can better understand how this situation came about and whether it was satisfactorily handled.
