We moved in July 07, and so far it has been okay. The people at the leasing office are nice to deal with most of the time. We had an issue at the beginning where out neighbors are young college kids and party during the week nights out on their patio. But I called the front office and they took care of it quickly. One other instance was when a couple of young guys rolled their beer kegs down the staircase from the third floor during the middle of the day! But again, the leasing office took care of it. Another instance our building's water supply was completely shut off. No one notified us of what was going on. I had to walk to the office and ask, and even then the young girl couldn't give me a straight answer. So I had to walk to the plumbers that were actually working on the problem to tell me. Last night someone left their dog out on their patio and was barking all night. We called the office and tried to leave a message for the courtesy officer, but the voicemail system was broke or something. No help there.
Sometimes our family walks around the complex on nice evenings, so I do not feel unsafe here. The landscape is nice although most people don't pick up after their dogs. There is plenty of parking. There is a new housing community next to the complex, so it might start to get loud once they begin building more houses on that side. Our location is perfect because its not too far from the front gate, we are really close to the mailbox and right in front of a garbage dumpster.
