I have lived in apartment building 16 since Summer 2006. The maintenance crew is usually on top of things, however sometimes you have to remind them several times. They are known to let in solicitors even though a sign is posted on each of the front gates stating, "NO SOLICITATION". Speaking of the gates, they are usually off the track or broken, so if you are looking for security, you might not find it here. I have never seen anyone dealing drugs or doing drugs. However I have smelt marjuana in the air, but most of the time the people smoking are not in sight and by the smell of it, won't be bothering anyone. The noises do get a little loud at the pools (after hours) but a simple call the the courtesy officer quiets that down. I found this past summer that a LOT of non-residents come over to go swimming, leaving trash everywhere. I have also noticed that more of the 'younger' crowd has moved in and they tend to not have the respect for their neighbors as they should have. There is NO insulation, so the electric bill gets a high during the summer months. There was a HUGE problem with dog poo being everywhere, but that has improved since doggy doo stations were set up all over the complex. For the most part, this apartment complex has been a nice place to live. If you do move in or already live here, remember to put your work request in writing as your Renters Contract states. They seem to respond a little quicker if you do and if there is ever a problem you will be able to bounce out early on your contract if needed.

Well you say the younger set has no respect for their neighbors - fyi - you don't respect them either. If you want to live in a 55 residence why are you here? To anyone renting - this is not a kid friendly environment. The neighbors are rude and unfriendly. If you are talking too loud, and I am not talking about yelling - just talking too loud the neighbors will call the police and say they hear someone getting hurt. I have never lived anywhere where the people who lived around me were so rude.
