I moved here about 6 months ago and I have to say this one of the best apartments I've ever lived in.
The people that live here couldn't be any nicer. It seems to be mostly working professionals. There's a few kids around, but they never cause any problems. On most Saturday nights it's so quiet you can hear a pin drop in the parking lot.
There doesn't seem to be much crime and I never feel unsafe here (I think that also has a lot to do with people always being out and walking their dogs). The renters here definitely pay attention to what's going on in the complex.
I was worried about how my puppy was going to take to apartment living but everyone else seems to have pets here and he's found some great play pals- and I've gotten to know most of my neighbors as a result.
The office staff is pretty decent and doesn't seem to put up with a lot of nonsense- so if you're looking for a "party pad" I definitely wouldn't plan on moving here!
The grounds are kept pretty nice looking the majority of the time. So far my only complaint has been the fenced dumpster in the front when you drive into the complex. Most of the time it looks very neat and tidy, but occassionally someone moves out and tosses stuff all over. It just looks bad when you drive in and that's the first thing you see. The problem would be easily fixed by just putting a gate on the front of it...hint, hint!
I haven't had any maintenance issues thus far, so I can't comment on that.
Over all I recommend it if you want a nice, safe place to come home to at night that feels more like a "community" than a "faceless" apartment complex.

I agree with tellstruth! Overall I have enjoyed living here. I've lived in worse but I definitely think you haven't lived here long enough! There are nothing but unruly children creating noise at all hours of the day and night. The maintenance people will show up fairly promptly but don't always know what they're doing. The office staff (except for John) is pretty useless. As far as hearing a pin drop? I guess maybe it depends on the part of the complex you're in, but not where I live in building nine!
