When I first moved into Stewart Creek Apartments in Oct of 2004 my roommate and I signed a 7 month lease and got a great deal. The complex is fairly new so the appliances are newer which was great. Our rent went up over $100/month when we re-signed our lease. That I didn't find to be too fair but I do like the area and feel it's fairly safe.
Now...down to my complaints. The amount of children with no curfews or parents seems astonishing! There are children who should be in bed running around the apartment complex and pool area at all hours of the day and night with no supervision causing extreme NOISE. I've had a few minor issues with the maintenance people here. We've been here almost 20 months and we still haven't had the air conditioning in my master bedroom (2 bed/2 bath) working properly and they've been out several times. I've also had them come out several times when I first moved in to re-caulk the tub in my bathroom because it continued to peel away and they gouged the tile with some sharp object and even broke some of the tile which I refuse to pay for when I move out since they did it. The WORST part about this complex is that I pay 10/month for covered parking and I can honestly tell you that someone else is parked in my spot that I pay for 4 out of 7 days EVERY single week! This is no exaggeration and I have the phone records to the towing company to prove it! What's the point in paying for a spot if some jerk is going to steal it every night' RUDE! The pool is nice but needs to be maintained a lot more. I did have a scorpion in my apartment which obviously can cause problems especially when you have pets. But in the overall scheme of things when I compare the location, price, amenities, staff, maintenance, and safety of this complex I guess I'd say it was pretty decent. g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
