I have lived here for almost two years, and I have had a very good experience.

The apartments are very nice on the inside - beige walls, crown molding, spacious, open, big closets, etc. I've lived in six apartment complexes, and this one is VERY VERY nice. I feel that I pay a reeeeeeeeally good price for this apt!

The staff is always very nice, and they have silly little contests & community activities which helps add to the experience!

The maintenance staff ROCKS! They are super super friendly, and they have always responded to any request that day or the next day! I really haven't had to ask much since this apartment is so nice!

The neighbors are friendly - this is the first complex I've lived in where I really know my neighbors!

There is plenty of parking right near my apartment which is rare for a complex! The middle area of the complex is beautiful with grass & trees & the pool & hot tub! I also have used the fitness center which has treadmills, steppers, free weights & a few weight machines! I was very impressed!

This is not a *fancy fancy* complex like some in Frisco with five billion amenities, but for the price it is awesome! Also, how many people reeeally take advantage of those crazy amenities that some of these complexes offer - rock climbing walls'''

Anyways, in response to the "Leaser Beware" rating on 10/08/04:

- EVERY apartment complex that offers "specials" will ding you for that $$$ if you're late on paying your rent.

- You no longer have to mail your rent - I submit mine on the 1st to the apartment office each month now.

- I will agree that the dumpsters are not very attractive & there are a lot of them.

- I found the pool & fitness center to be just fine - what exactly does outdated mean'

- We must be talking about 2 totally different maintenance staffs because the staff I know is awesome!

ALL IN ALL, I TOTALLY RECOMMEND PLANTATION VILLAS. Every apartment complex has their issues - it's an apartment complex! I truly believe Plantation Villas realizes their opportunities to improve and constantly works to improve in those areas!
