I must admit this is the 1st apt I've lived in and haven't had "run-ins" (arguments) with the management folks-amazing. On the other hand, the mgmt personnel seems to change fairly often. I'm sometimes made to feel bad like I'm inconveniencing the mgmt when I have a pkg to pick up as I have to get it from the office. i.e. "You have another package''" Um-yes -why else would I come to the office''

The workout room needs SERIOUS work! I'm one of the few residents who seems to use this. There are 2 (only 2) treadmills and 1 is ALWAYS broken. When it's fixed, it may work for 1 day tops!! There is no eliptical or newer machines, just the basics -very basics!!

The pool IS kind of lame, I must agree with other posters and YES it was closed in mid-JUNE - um, hello-this is TX!!! It's HOT here. As a result, I haven't been IN the pool even 1 time-still wondering why exactly it was closed -yuck!

No issues with maintenance - they've always been prompt for me.

I think the monthly pet rent is a big FREAKING scam and ripoff. Let's see where else they can price gouge you!! I've had to get my 2 cats jobs chasing mice so they can pay their $30 rent!! LOL

While I know mgmt cannot control the neighbors, I am the unfortunate soul to live below a newly married couple in desperate need of a new bed - and a clock. Why @ 5am would you want to anything but SLEEP'' Their work schedule is absolutely absurd and they are up 'til 12am at least, walking around with their LEAD weight feet. Sometimes I think they may fall right thru the ceiling. They also have absolutely no idea that their staircase goes directly ABOVE my apt and proceed to BARREL up & down the stairs (especially the guy) - can you say RUDE' I've pounded on the ceiling many times with brooms etc...but nothing ever changes. Occasionally they will have some of their young punk friends over too and then it's even more fun---music, cigarettes & conversation all out on the balcony so I can hear them even better!! Yeah- can't wait to get away from them!

You are right in that management cant control neighbors. They just put a new treadmill in the fitness center and it works just fine, there is an eliptical machine... look around before you make comments. I also get frequent packages, no one has ever been rude to me about them. Perhaps you should call the cops on your neighbors and they will discontinue the inappropiate rude behavior. Dont complain about something you can fix.

I agree about complaining. If you want to make a negative posting for Plantation Villas, why would you do so before ever talking with management & voicing your concerns? Have you called the police on your neighbors? If you haven't, that's your own fault. When it comes to your packages, it's a courtesy that they even hold them for you while your gone from home! I think that's nice of them when they DON'T have to hold them!!! Have you ever thought that maybe someone was just kidding when they said "another package"???? As for the management & staff...the manager & assistant manager were there for almost 2 1/2 years before being promoted to new positions! I'd say that a stable staff! Leasing agents always come & go though. I have seen that in every apartment complex I lived at.

Geez-nothing like getting chewed out for posting on this site..1st of all -there is NO eliptical machine -it's a stepper!!! hello-learn about your fitness machinery before you make rude comments. I also don't think the cops would appreciate me calling because my neighbors have lead feet or like to have sex @ 3am...not something I can fix!! And Suzie-yes, the mgmt has been fairly stable, but the leasing agents last about a week and they are gone...they are the ones saying "another package" - it's not like I get 1 every day and NO it's not courtesy that they do that-UPS/Fedex cannot leave them at the door in an apt. Sorry I can't be home during the day to get my package - I have to work during the day so I can pay the rent, which in turn pays their salaries so they can receive my packages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
