Just don't like living here

I really can't say very much negative about the place. It's reasonably priced, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is bad in some areas, but not that bad overall. But, I just hate living here. There's just nothing enjoyable about it. My 1-year lease is up in a few weeks and I absolutely can't wait to leave. The floor plans of the different apartments are just poorly done. The units feel cramped. I'm not just talking about mine either because I have a few friends that live here as well, with different floor plans, and all of them feel confining. Just too many walls. Also, and this may sound trivial, but the light switches are not where they should be. I know that sounds weird and like a small detail, but after a year of flipping the wrong switch every time I go into a room it has sufficiently driven me insane. Also there is dog crap EVERYWHERE. Either nobody picks up after their dog or there just aren't enough places to throw it away. I think both are to blame. As I said earlier though, the biggest problem for me is that this place doesn't feel warm or comfortable. I hate coming home and looking at all these damn walls. It's like living in a very small maze.

I am so sorry that the walls are driving you crazy. Please know that we offer free accent walls to be painted as a renewal bonus. I know it's not huge but it really does help break up the monotony. As far as the light switches, I know exaclty what you mean. I have lived in my apartment for 2 years and I still can't get it right. Plus, I even have a switch or two that I don't know what it goes to. The dog poo issue is always an issue. Can you believe we have 12 pet stations in this place with the little doggie bags provided and people still don't utilize them. Honestly, it has always been a problem but our new groundskeeper is really trying to stay on top of it. Thanks for your comments and know that you will be missed. If there is anything what-so-ever that we can do to change your mind, please call me personally at the office at 972-668-6300 ext. 205. Tiffany Pavey Community Manager www.vineyardsfrisco.com

I have lived at many apartments, including Frisco, North Dallas and even on Turtle Creek. These floor plans are the best of anywhere I've lived. These apartments feel like houses because they have actual rooms - meaning that the dining room is actually a room and the living is actually a room. I hate apartments that merge the living and dining room into one long galley. I just can't get what this reviewer is talking about... an obsession about looking at walls? Maybe you need a cement loft downtown where your bedroom/kitchen/living/dining is all one big cement box?
