Could be a lot better

I have been here for over 12 months now. Here is my take on the complex.
Staff
In my experience, they talk a good game, but, rarely deliver. The dryer in my unit squeaks loudly intermittently. I have asked them to fix it on a number of occasions. When I talked to Brad, the manager, he told me if it does not make the noise when the maint crew comes, there is nothing they can do. Pitiful. So basically, they don t want to pay for a new unit. There were several other items on my move in sheet that they have simply ignored. After numerous visits to my unit, I gave up.
Parking.
Get a garage or assigned space. 20-50 per month. The parking is horrible here. You will be walking a distance if you don t have a space.
The Apartment.
The apartment is nice enough. Don t expect any upgrades though. Aside from the custom paint and crown molding, its pretty cheap. Laminate tile, low end white appliances. Carpet was fair, but, put in improperly. There are visible seams throughout the unit.
Utilities
Water bill is cheap enough. Roughly 28 per month. This is a co-op so no matter what you use, or don t use, you will pay the same. Heat/AC - Had I known how poor these units were, I would have moved on immediately. My bill averages over 200 per month. This is nuts for a 1100 sqft. unit. I have asked them several times to service the AC, but, it never happens.
Grounds
Dog poo is a problem. They do not enforce the designated areas at all. They do keep the grounds mowed and trimmed.
Garbage Valet - ok, for some people it s nice to have your trash picked up close to your apartment. The issue is, people take their garbage out when they feel, not in the designated times. You pay 5 per month for the privilege of seeing piles of garbage 3 days a week. Personally, I would rather have more bins so I could dispose of trash at my convenience, not theirs.
Location.
Awesome. Close to the mall and numerous restaurants. Easy access to the Toll Way.
Summation.
Save the hassle. Find a different place. There are many in the area to choose from.

No thank you. I will be out soon enough and you can deal with the issues then, or, simply pass them off to the next tenant of this unit. I wish you would have been this customer service oriented in person the first few times I attempted to resolve. Now that its posted on a public forum, you wish to help? No thanks. As I said before, they talk a good game but don't deliver. Oh, as I have read other concerns about people being nickle and dime'd to death upon move out, I will be posting my personal experience here. Perhaps it wont be as bad as some of the other concerns I have read. Cheers!

So I used to be a resident there at The Vineyards and I left simply because Brad is a total DOUCHE and has his head so far up is butt he can't even see stright. The demographic that he is attracting is young COLLEGE kids whom have been spoon fed there entire life and don't give a crap about the Community Policies. When I lived there I followed policy and still got crap sent to my door about stuff I was not doing. My punk neighbors where the issue. Cops were out there at least once if not twice a night. I was soooo over the dog poo, trash(which by the way you every trash bag you see out on non trash day is a 50-75 dollar charge to the accounts of the residents. You would think they would be collecting that money and putting it back into the Communtiy to make it look better.... MAKE SURE YOU DO A FINAL WALK THRU. Set an appointment with the Assistant manager the day of your move out. Make sure you have cleaned the apartment and get an estimate on the carpet. Get a copy of you move in inventory sheet and put EVERYTHING in writing. I hope for the best and I am sorry you got sucked into the Vineyards drama. It has been that way for YEARS!!!
