I have been a resident for close to three years and over those years, the Property Manager has changed five times. The sales people, who change more than a person changes his/her socks, do a great job of selling the place. Once you are a resident, the customer service stops! If you have an issue, resolve it yourself! If you have a maintenance issue, resolve it yourself, or be prepared to go in the office five times before something gets fixed. I would avoid all properites managed by Pacific West. They DO NOT CARE about their residents. As the assistant to one of the regional heads, said to me, "You should take care of yourself because WE WILL TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES". Avoid them at all cost. The amenities hardly ever work and parking is a nightmare. If you rent a garage, be prepared to have neighbors use your driveway. Since parking is so bad, people take it upon themselves to find their own spots. Good luck trying to get management to intervene. Overall, if this was any other business, it would have gone into bankruptcy due to these tactics.
