I agree with all of the awful comments stated by other residents! I've been a resident for two years and I have been MISERABLE!!!! There is never enough parking (I've been towed twice costing $400 each time for parking in places where the leasing agents told me that I could park!!!) I had to wait almost a year before a detached garage became availible and at $95 dollars a month I shouldn't have any problems, but other residents keep parking behind my garage so that I can't get out and I have been late to work multiple times because of this! Not to mention that the only towing company that will come to the Vintage if you do get blocked in is in S. Plano, and it normally takes them atleast 2 hours to get there! I have had so many problems with my remote: sometimes I can't get into my garage, very often I cannot get into the front gate (the office personnel told me to just park at the office and walk home!!!) and I can never use the gym because you can never get through the magnetic doors!!! I've also had my car locked inside my garage for two days because the door got stuck! Plus, one of the bolts fell out of the garage door and cracked my windshield and they refused to fix it!!! Next issue: I have been waiting for 8 months for the maintainence staff to fix the leak behind my toilet! I have a huge stain from the rust, and my whole bathroom smells like mildew. I have to constantly keep and old towel and a bucket under the pipe to keep the water off of the floor, but it is so bad that by the time I get home from work, the bucket is full, the towel is soaked, and the water has seeped into the floor, which causes the mildew smell!!! Still not fixed! Next issue: the pools are almost always closed during the summer, but always open during the winter! What the heck!'! They have wonderful parks to walk your dogs, but none of the residents pick up after their dogs and the office doesn't seem to care! Watch out for the "land mines" :) Last but certainly not least: my nighbors in the apt. above me have parties that last until 3 or 4 am!!! I've had to call the police dept. 4 times and they've only lived there a couple of months! Plus, their floor right above my bedroom squeaks so loudly that they wake me up at all hours of the night just simply walking through their apt. I know that it isn't their fault, but when I contacted the office, they told me that it wasn't fixable and that I should "just take a sleeping aid or get over it"!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I MADE!

i agree... the leasing staff are an unprofessional lying group and does not care. Ive never experienced such lack of attention to important issues and I just moved in 2 months ago. Things still havent been fixed in my apartment Because of the office staff. Evry time ive run into a mantiance guy they have been very nice and attentive fixed thing right away.
