First of all, let me just say, do NOT be fooled by how nice these apartments LOOK.

I'll start with the parking.

If you have an extra $75/mo to shell out for a parking spot, fine.

They've got a TON of unused garages.

But if not, you're forced to either a) get home at around 9pm to be able to grab a decent spot, b) park along a curb and possibly get ticketed or c) park a football field (understatement) away from your apartment.

Seriously.

Ask anyone that lives there.

The sound insulation is absolutely horrible.

Either a bowling team or herd of elephants lived above me, I'm not sure which.

I could seriously sometimes hear conversations of people above me, especially in the bathroom.

This is with my tv on, stereo going, etc.

You can hear people in other buildings on their balconies chatting away as if theyre sitting right next to you in your bedroom.

Maintenance, while prompt, is incompetent.

It took about 6-7 trips to get our a/c fixed, and on the FIRST DAY we had an issue with our front door being stuck.

It was unlocked and would not open.

Management AND maintenance proceeded to treat me as if I was completely -------- and ask "are you sure its not locked'" I felt compelled to hold up my key and say "THAT'S what this is for'!'!' OHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Even after we explained to the maintenance guy what the issue was, it wasn't until 35 minutes of his "tinkering" with it to come to the conclusion that lo, and behold, we were right.

Also, the staff is pretty rude.

If you walk in and they're busy with anybody, they seem annoyed for you to show up.

If they're even in sight, that is.

There is one lady in particular that I've NEVER seen in a good mood.

And the guys above me had a major leak in their apartment which rotted out the ceiling above their closet.

It proceeded to cause a leak all the way down through our apartment wall to the first floor!! Was it fixed' I'd say 'patched' would be a good term.

And don't even get me STARTED on Grande Communications (the only available cable/internet choice you have here).

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE cable/internet experience.

My roommate and I went through about 5 cable boxes in a year that just fritzed out for NO reason whatsoever, and our internet was down at least twice a week.

You think a new complex like this would try to partner themselves with a better company, but, whatever.

Overall, it was a frustrating and annoying experience, and I would NOT recommend this property to ANYONE.
